It was tidy and classy place, had great location and amenities. We had a pretty nice bedroom. The hotel was in a peaceful area, just next door to the hill, Cromford village, the castle.

Location and amenities - all was superb. The hotel was located next to tourist attractions as well as the hill. Also, Cromford Mills was placed nearby. Early check-in, late check-out.

Booked it for 1 day and had a decent experience. Staff were extremely accommodating, so I really enjoyed my being there. I had immaculate standard king room with Wi-Fi, outstanding views, for example. There also was secure parking and good pool.

Food was savoury, top-class staff, bed was comfortable. I had ideal, ideal room with a luxury bathroom. They made my stay luxury. Had alcoholic drinks in the pool bar. The stunning beach was located near the property.

Pretty much what I expected: unforgettable hotel, reasonably priced. Location and staff were exceptional, I had a very good experience here. I liked a really great decor and vintage furniture. It was well laid out and had comfy bed.
Air conditioning was not cold; very limited views.

20 mins walk to the centre. Our suite was good sized with a STUNNING view. If we return to Matlock we will be back.

We could see crich tramway village from our window. The views were fantastic! Near heights of abraham, 10 minutes' walk to cromford train station. Pool looked great.

The staff was loyal and the location was marvelous. There was a great dining option, Parkys Eatery, only 400 metres from the hotel. Not far from derwent valley mills and other sights in Matlock:)))
